I've been to Lucy twice and each time the staff was very nice and the food was delicious. I am very stunned! To round off the meal there perfectly, I recommend the Ethiopian coffee and the "Malva" dessert! I'm looking forward to the next time :)

Very authentic restaurant with interesting decor. The service is super friendly and very attentive, the food was fantastic. High quality meat and vegetarian dishes for a fair price. There was also a brief introduction to the Ethiopian finger food eating technique.

I was invited to a birthday dinner there and thought that it would take a long time to prepare the food as we were many guests, but on the contrary! The food arrived quickly and tasted so good! The staff are very nice and take care of their guests!

We were there for the Ethiopian New Year and it was really great! The owner not only left us open for an hour longer, but also had a full round of Ethiopian coffee and ice cream on the house. He also prepared Tekabino especially for us, which wasn't on the menu at all. I was in Ethiopia myself for 8 months and can recommend a visit to Lucy to anyone who wants to get to know the country or is homesick. Absolutely great !!

The armchairs are very comfortable and I think the distance between the seats is particularly appropriate. You don't even get the feeling of dining like sardines in a can there. As for me, I would have liked to try it out first, but then there would have been no more room for the good food. My husband and I also think the prices are perfect ok. Really fast and friendly service. I think that the entire restaurant staff did a great job there.

Such a warm team! You really feel at home here! And the food first, I'm more of a meat eater, but I can fully recommend the vegetarian there! It is worth it!

We had a wonderful evening. The staff was super nice and the food was just excellent. We sat outside and were served very friendly and courteous. The quality of the food was very high, there was also a diverse selection of Ethiopian food and drinks. We would love to come back!

We didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks. That was great, because we had a really big hunger attack that evening. The staff was fast, well-groomed and friendly. We find the inn contemporary for all kinds of occasions, whether with a partner, acquaintances or relatives. We are completely pleasantly surprised. We both will definitely reappear.

Lucy Restaurant is one of a total of 4 African restaurants (Ethiopian cuisine) I know in Nuremberg. All ordered meals were outstanding, the restaurant and staff shone with their friendly, authentic and therefore very pleasant appearance. The restaurant is traffic-calmed and has outdoor seating. The guests present seemed pleasant and pleasant. You can park in the surrounding streets or in the Südstadt car park. Lucy's restaurant - gladly again!

I myself come from Ethiopia and have been in Nuremberg for 25 years. It was not a normal dinner but a special one !! For this evening I was like being in Ethiopia !! Taste, ambience, coffee ceremony ... Simply experienced a piece of home. Thanks Lucy !!!!!

Really cute restaurant with a nice and familiar atmosphere. If you are the fancy kind of tipe maybe it's not for you, but if the idea of eating with your hands appeals you, then definitely come to enjoy some lovely Ethiopian cousine. The food was very nice, a friend and I shared the mixed beef and vegetarian platter and everything was tasty and pleasent. The couple who owners the place is lovely. I never had Ethiopian food before, but the food was very good. Recommended 😊

The visit to this restaurant was really unique. Both the mood and the music that was running contributed significantly to a really great somewhat different (because African) but definitely inviting atmosphere. The service was very quick and extremely friendly. The highlight was definitely the food, which was nicely arranged and tasted wonderfully unique. Some of this was a little too spicy for my wife, so you should like it more spicy, but if that's the case, you really shouldn't miss this unique restaurant experience. I was definitely not the last time there.

I have been there today following the great feedbacks I read here, and I completely agree with them: it is tasty and great, and the owner is extremely kind and helpful. He figured out it was my first time eating an Ethiopian meal, and so he explained to me how to eat it (with the hands) and came several times checking everything was OK for me. I haven't waited at all. I highly recommend it!

Nice restaurant and friendly staff. First time for me to have Ethiopian dish, different but delicious. Coffee was also really good, balanced taste. They are getting the green beans directly form Ethiopia and roast there own coffee.

As a business traveller I have been to quite a few Ethiopian restaurants around the world and wasn't impressed by any, as much as I was by Lucy . Lucy is by far the best. The setting, the simplicity and atmosphere is just brilliant. The test of the food is fantastic . I had ' shiro ' in my first visit and it's really testy . The second time I had ' tibs ' and that was really testy too. it's very authentic Ethiopian food. I was very much impressed . I can't wait till my next visit to Nürnberg so that I can go to Lucy for dinner😁

Delicious food and very welcoming staff. Mix-Teller Kitfo and Tibs was yummy. We enjoyed the Ethiopian honey -wine! The coffee was just excellent, right temperature with traditional Ethiopian ceremony. Thank you .

The food has such flavourful tastes and was absolutely delicious. The portions were good, we were certainly full after our meal. The seating area itself has a lot of thought full touches and really gives off a Ethiopian vibe. The staff were also really attentive, friendly and fast. We'll definitely be recommending Lucy (named after the oldest human found) to our family and friends.

I took two of my friends to introduce them to my culture and it did not disappoint. Although the portions were a bit small, they were tastey.The staff were amazing. We even got Ethiopian coffee on the house. Can't wait to go again.I definitely recommend this place.
